Eating in public

So, Ari breast feeds.  Sometimes while we are out he gets hungry and starts feeling me up.  Yesterday was one of those days.  Nothing funnier than an adorable little boy burying his face in your cleavage and making sucking sounds.  

Feeding him in public is fine, until he starts playing.  How do you explain to an infant that we do not to play with our food?  His food being the milk coming from me.  He pulls off the blanket that provides a bit of privacy and then starts blowing raspberries on my nipples.  Highly entertaining, but sort of awkward at the Starbucks filled with businessmen.  Take them away you say?  I do.  This leads to demands for more in just minutes as we like to play in the middle of our meal, not at the end.

Thankfully, Buy Buy Baby has nursing covers for only $12.99 and I got one the other day.  Unfortunately, I am not used to packing this for every excursion yet.  Grr!

We did it!  The rash is fading fast!

Diaper Rash, I will defeat you!

Ari has diaper rash.  He has had it for more than two weeks.  We have been using the prescription ointment and it was looking fine.  This morning after bath time it became clear that we have to go back to the doctor... grr!
